Scalloped Eyelet Border
I have been admiring a lot of the border punches on the market. At the crop I attended a few weeks ago I was a little jealous of all the adorable borders on the cards and the layouts. So instead of forking out a bunch of money on punches I started designing a few for myself and now I am sharing this one with you.
I feel like this one has a springy feel so I hope it will work well work your Spring projects. Use this as a border. Cut it and weld it to card edges. Wrap it around your Easter Eggs. Have fun with this border.

Nature Bear
Hello everyone. Long time no post. We are building a new house. I am totally grateful but it takes up a lot of time. We are in the home stretch which means lots of picking and choosing of this finish and that color and picking up this or that. I have been swamped with the process but I have to say I have truly enjoyed it. I will enjoy the finish project even more.
Last weekend I attend Crop for the Cure. Our Crop for the Cure founder, Jenny, did and amazing job with the food, t-shirts door prizes, vendors. I had an awesome time. Jenny’s event, takes place in a town with main street so small you would miss if you blink, raised over $1800 for our local GRACE foundation. Awesome job Jenny.
While at the even I had a chance to create Nature Bear. This is a File is Free for Adams Acres Members.

Believe Word Art
Number 2 and I went out on the town to purchase a pair of pants for the upcoming holiday program. After we successfully completed the mission we had lunch together. The mall is a perfect place for us because we can both get what we want. He grabbed a Subway and I had Chinese. We finished off our meal by opening the fortune cookie. My fortune on November 28th, “Tomorrow will be lucky and memorable for you.” Well knowing that the hubby and I were going to be springing an early Christmas present on the entire family I already knew the next day was going to be memorable. My fortune cookie actually semi knew my future. On the other hand I don’t believe in luck I believe in blessings. There is one true Lord who provides blessings. He blesses me everyday whether my day is going good or bad, based on my humble human opinion. Inspired to Believe everyday I am providing you with the freebie file “Believe.” May God continue to bless you and yours and I pray you continue to “Believe.”

Pots and Pans For Your Cricut
Thanksgiving is quickly approaching and I am thinking about Turkey and Stuffing. One of my favorite things to collect is cookbooks. I have an entire shelf of them. I love the ones that have been passed down from my Grandmother’s because not only do they have my favorite recipes but they have notes written in their own hand writing. A couple of years ago my sister-in-law put together a beautiful cookbook for her future daughter-in-law. Out of all the items she received I bet the cookbook will be one that is passed on to another generation.
Enjoy this pots and pans files with Sure Cuts a Lot or your other favorite cutting system. I hope you can use them to create some great recipe cards or an awesome family heirloom cookbook.

Sure Cuts A Lot: Dump Truck SVG
Be sure to enter the Scrapbook Giveaway!!
I made this over sized card for my son’s friend. He likes truck. I created a pocket out of the box with brads so it could hold the cash gift. I used doodle type stamps from close to my heart for the title. You can download the Sure Cuts A Lot SVG. It comes in a zip file.
You will notice that I color coded the individuals SVG files. You will also notice that each file has a star on it when you open it in Sure Cuts A Lot. I use the star to maintain the size of all the images. You open one file, before you close the other. Then resize the file until the stars match up. This way you maintain the proportion of all the files.
How to Open a .Scut File
We have all been challenged by the every changing world of technology. Scrapbooking is no different. No longer is it a matter of slapping some tape on the back of a picture, putting it on a page and journaling. Now you can get as elaborate as you want. The Cricut machine and the Sure Cuts a Lot software is a testament to that.
I have been watching my blog stats and I see a few people looking for information on how to open a .scut file.
First off if you are downloading .scut files just place your pointer over the file you want to download and right click. You will probably see a menu of options come up. Choose “save link as” or “save as.” Place the file on your desktop or in a folder where you can find it later.
To open your file you will need a working copy of Sure Cuts A Lot.
Open your sure Cuts A Lot program.
At the top click on File and then open project. In your open project window select your .scut file. You are now in business make changes to your .scut file and eventually cut it on your Cricut machine.
