Sure Cuts a Lot Wedding Card
My wonderful nephew and his new bride got married this weekend. It is a wonderful story. They started dating when they were freshmen in High School. Broke up for just a short time in college. Got back together, graduated college and yesterday they became husband and wife. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could all find our true love as freshmen in high school. I created this card just for them. This is a pop up card but super simple to make. The card was made in fall colors to match the wedding.
This card has lots of elements. The bride and groom were cut in SCAL II. I cut them from a set of SVG images Denise has on her blog. I am including this particular bride and groom image in the SCUT file. I glittered the Bride and Groom with one of my favorites Doodlebug Sugar Coating Glitter. The Glitter is super fine. I use a clear glue stick to adhere the glitter. If you want a heavier coat I use spray adhesive.
The heart has some dimension to it. You will notice the SCUT file has a page with several hearts. I wanted the hear to be thicker so I cut several hearts and pasted them together. The top heart layer is a patterned paper. I also used Doodlebug Sugar coating on this card. I topped the heart with a button that I added a little floss to.
The inside of the card pops up. This is so easy. fold the card in half then cut slits in the card. When you open the card open up the slits and fold them in the opposite direction so that when you open your card you have a little bench. Glue your items so the bench. I will try to get a video up for this portion.
I have included links to a few of the items below. If you continue to scroll you will find a link to the scut file. Become a free member to access the scut file.
Just Married Car SVG
This is a fun piece as it is very versatile. You can add lots of dimension with pop dots or embellishments. If you happen to create a wedding scrapbook using this piece I would love to see it.
This is the final cut in the Wedding SVG Trilogy. If I did this car again, and I will, I would cut to of the backgroud piece twice. One a little smaller and use the other for a true shadow. This pieces works with sure cuts a lot. You can find addition wedding scrapbook items on the site as well.
Agin with the Stickles. This is a recurring theme as tleast until I run out.
If youa re looking for papers for your wedding scrapbook I think K & Company has some amazing collections.
Would you do me a favor. If you like this or any of my SVG files would you click on the stumble me button on the right or use the onlywire button. I am doing some work to expand the blog so that I can continue to provide free svg files. Stumbles or social bookmarks will help a lot. Thank you in advance.
Bride and Groom for Your Cricut

Bride and Groom SVG
I am on a wedding kick lately the brother and the nephew are inspiring me to create some svg files to use with sure cuts a lot. I have a series of wedding and wedding shower related svgs in the works. This is the Bride and Groom. You may want to take a look at the wedding bells as well.
This couple has several different pieces. After putting this together the first time I can see some opportunities to make it stand out. I would add some dimension with 3 d adhesives. I did embellish the dress the tux and the flowers with Stickles. Stickles come in a variety of colors so you could easily match this die cut to the wedding party colors using stickles as an accent.
Scrapbooking your wedding and wedding photos is so important. I have a traditional wedding album that the photographer put together but it doesn’t include any journaling or information about the day. When I got married I was not into scrapbooking. I didn’t journal the day and now a lot has been lost. I have bits and pieces like all of us do. It would have been nice to have a book with journaling as well.
Products like the Janet Hopkin’s Memory Binder would be great for any bride or a sentimental groom for the wedding day. The binder is beautiful on its own. If you are a scrapper and I know you are you can also adorn this with embellishments and really make it your own. This would be an excellent shower gift for a new bride.
Free SVG Friday: Wedding Bells
My brother is finally getting married this summer so I will be using this SVG for sure cuts a lot time and time again. I am also fortunate to be gaining a new niece as my nephew is also getting married. Wedding bells are timeless and can be used again and again. I think you could also put this svg into action for the Christmas holiday as well.
The pieces to this cut are in a zip file. You will notice that each svg has a little star. I use the star to make sure all my pieces are sized appropriately. The star is not used for any other purpose than to size the svg images.
Enjoy!!!
