Free File Friday: Forget Me Not
I love flowers. They are one of my favorite subject to work with when creating files. Today’s File ties a flower with a seniment, “Forget Me Not.” Today I want to show you 3 ways to work with the Forget Me Not file.
Cut the SVG, MTC, SCUT, PDF, or DXF.
Use it as a digi stamp and color with your favorite pencils, markers or chalks.
Or print and cut it for a quick and easy project.
Today file will be availalbe for free until Midnight April 15th, 2012.
Back from Easter Break with Some New Ducks
Hello Ladies and Gents
Whew what a week and a weekend. We did a little different this year. The week before Easter we had a combo Easter, Confirmation and Birthday party. Let me tell you 30 lbs of pulled pork with all the fixings will definitely feed 35 people once and possible 1 to 2 more times. As I was stilling pulling pork apart at 10PM the night before the party I wish I would have known 15lbs would have done the job. No biggie I had plenty to send home and still enough to put in the freezer for a quick meeal down the line.
I had a great Easter break since I did all the cooking the week before. I didn’t mess with the computer or the Internet too much this break so I had some serious catch up to do today. I wanted to share this cute card I did. I was in a time crunch so instead of cutting it I did a quick print for this one but you can certainly cut all the pieces with the MTC, SCAL, PDF, DXF or SVG files in the kit.

Spring Has Sprung Blog Hop
Ginger Snap Scraps will carry Cricut products, Echo Park, Lawn Fawn, Bazzil Cardstock, The Twinery, Copics, My Mind Eye, La La Land and many more popular brands that you love!
The hop begins at Created By Cori. If you came from Anita’s Blog then you are in the right place!
Last week we had a taste of summer not spring. I think we all had red checks after enjoying some 80 degree whether. It was a little season confusing. We all felt like we should all be out planting something. I know this is justt a preview of great summer to come, but I’m not ready to put my snow boots away just yet. I’ve been a Nebraska resident long enough to know that it can still snow, and snow a lot, all the way until may.
In the meantime I hope you enjoy this spring/Easter layout I did for you. I used Spring in Bloom DCWV paper and also paper from my stash. I inked or chalked eveything. The die cut was created from the my “Spring Chick file”. This file is cuttable or you can use it as a digi stamp.

Sweet Dreams Little Sheep by Guest Designer Mary
I have a guest designer. I am fortunate to have Mary Perterson working with a set of my SVG files. Mary is working with the Animal Barnyard collection. Mary used the sheep from the collection to make her first of hopefully many projects.
Mary tells me, “The star and moon paper, and the plaid paper is from Paper Studios. I used Recollections pink to create the flower border (a file I created) and Recollections yellow cardstock.
For the sheep, I did a print and cut for the face, using MTC and my Cougar. I cut out all the pieces in three different sizes. I wrapped the single body piece with Red Heart Buttercup white yarn to give the sheep some “wool”. I also used the yarn on the tail and the head.”
I can’t wait so see more from Mary.
My First BAP Layout “My Little Peeps”
This week I tried out the BAP from Creative Kuts. Here is how the BAP (build a project) works. Gina emails you a file and you send back your creation. You can add your own flair, embellishments and SVG cuts but the base of the cut is from the BAP file. So this is what I came up with.
The title the border and the journal square are all from Gina. She even gives you the layout sketch which awesome. The chick here is mine from the animal barnyard collection. From there I added some Paper Studios ribbon holders, some fiber on the chick and google eyes. I was sure to chalk and ink everything to give the whole thing dimension.
Now on to page 2.
The second page was just as much fun as the first. Gina again provided a sketch an I added my elements such as the ribbon holder and brads, the big background flower from the my “Bird Cage” collection and the Egg and Chick which is a new file for download today. This was an awesome challenge. I receive a great new SVG file and a new page layout. Thanks Gina for putting the BAP together.
Here are the links for the free download and other SVG files.

Pop Up Cross Card
Tis the season of confirmations and Easter celebration. I love the bunnies but you always need to keep in mind the true reason for Easter. Today I have a pop up Easter Card in SVG, PDF, MTC, SCAL and DXF format. You could also print and cut the card if you don’t have an electronic die cutting machine.
I used DCWV paper collections, perfect pearls and chalks to highlight the die cuts. All the images on in the picture are included in the card file.
Animal Barnyard
I got a little carried away. I needed a cow for a baby album and then I started to play and the pig arrived. Then I thought what would a farm be without a lamb and then I played all week making designs instead of actually making the baby album. But….. I did finish the entire barnyard animal set. I made each design in MTC, SCAL, SVG, PDF and something new to me DXF format. Then I went and made each design into a digi stamp and a cut and print clip art. I packaged the whole set up and put it in the Adams Acres store. All week I will be working on projects with these darling little barnyard animals.

What’s better than a best friend. One of my daughter’s best friends transfered to a different school this year but with Facebook, texting and parents that drive they still have the best freindship. I created this with an SVG I crated for this blog hops. You can download the SVG by enter your email address in the form below. In the file you will also find digi stamps of the quote and the butterfiles.
I was able to use lots of techniques on this layout. Die cuts of course and digi tamps for the quotes. I inked the edges of the white base card stock with pink ink and then stamped hearts with embossing ink. I pounced the hearts with blue chalk. To add one more layer I used a Close to my Heart Stamp for the puple stamps. I hope you enjoy the file.
