I made this for an adorable friend of mine.  I’m wishing her all the best in her new marriage. Here’s the recipe Just Married File from Creative Kuts Bling for the taillights and caption chalk (I stamped the hearts on the moon and pounced them with chalk to add some dimension.) Baby Stroller Side Step Card

Changing it up a little. There are some babies arriving very soon so I thought I better get busy and get cards and gifts lined up. This card uses a side step fold. I really enjoy the side step card it allows some dimension. It really makes and interesting card with lots of different options. Cardstock Decorator Paper Stickers (I had some Creative Memories left over) Riboon Stickles (for the wheels) Stamp and Ink Doodlebug Sanding Sugar for the letters Cutting files from Adams Acres [wp_eStore_buy_now_fancy id=7] If you are curious about how to fold the side step card I put together this quick video.  I use the Martha Stewart Scor…

    Another Cupcake Happy Birthday Card

Somebody is turning 7.  Tomorrow we are having a dual Easter and Birthday celebration.  I updated my scrapbooking stash with some new supplies.  One of my new supplies was a collection of Tattered Angels. I have never used Tattered Angels before.  I didn’t because I knew once I did I would be in love and I am.  On the cupcake top I sprayed blue card stock with Electric Blue and then hit is with Silver Sugar.  I wish I had a better picture but it really adds great dimension to the cupcake frosting.  So sparkly. I put together a collection of supplies for you as well as the Cupcake file…

If You Can’t Draw Faces On Your People Try This

I love to make paper doll die cuts.  For the most part I actually ask my 12 year old daughter to draw the faces on.  My hand is just not steady enough and on top of that I would absolutely never be happy with my freehand drawing skills.  I have found a solution called Peachy Keen Stamps.  They work well with the Cricut Paper Doll Cartridge but there is no reason why they would not work with SCAL or other electronic cutting systems. They have the cutest faces to work with in several different designs.  I took a screen shot of the site to give you and idea.  Be sure…

    Cool Cat Birthday Card

This is a little out of the norm for me.  I have been tempted to get into stamping but budget and space in the 84 X 72 in scrapbook and crafting room has been holding me back until now.  I have been playing with digital stamps.  At first I thought why in the world would anybody spend the time coloring in a digital stamp when you could just print clip art instead.  Well I have to say there is a big difference.  Maybe it is the time you put into yourself or the difference in the coloring but there is a definite difference. I have purchased a few digital stamps.…

    Wag O Meter Layout

I was not a little dog lover until I found this little guy at the humane society.  This is my son’s dog but for some reason like all dogs who belong to sons moms seem to end up spending a lot of time caring for them as well.  This little guy is the funniest little thing and has given me a new perspective on little dogs. Yesterday my youngest boy needed a show in tell for school.  We took this picture of “Willie” and scraped it up for show and tell.  He is in preschool so we made a corresponding sheet for the letter A.  A stands for Adoption.  Adoption…

Ranger Utee Non Stick Craft Sheet a Table Saver

I hunted for these high and low.  If you google them they are not craft mats but craft sheets.  Referring to them as Ranger craft sheets even gets you closer.  In any event I saw them on one of the YouTube videos done by Tim Holtz.  I now have one and they are indispensable.  They are good for you but even better if you have little kids.  They clean up pretty well and definitely save your table. You need one if you are going to do any of the blending techniques that Tim Holtz shows in his distress ink videos.  Here is where I ended up finding them.  Scrapbook Store…
