Purse Card

My niece is another year older.  She is a crafter too so when I was at the HL the other day I loaded up on all sorts of craft projects for her.  My brother was less excited to see all the makers, glue, and paints that will be opened and used in house.  Well he will certainly get over it and she will have a ball with her new craft projects.

So little girls love purse so why not a purse card.

Purse CardThis card was cut with one sided decorator paper.  I flipped the image and cut another piece out of co ordinating paper so the pieces would match when I put the wrong sides together.

The stamp is a Stampabilities Happy Birthday Stamp.

I used Star Dust Stickles for the dots and some extra ribbon for the handle.

I finished it off with a Paper Studio Flower and a button from a Karen Foster Collection.

Inside the Scut file you will find another cut for a piece that fits inside.

Great Site for Word Art

I have been hunting for inspiration for a “Get Well Soon” card I have been working on.  I wanted some pretty word art to go with the rest of the card.  I came across Elegant Word Art by Bethany.  Her site is full of beautiful word art as well as digi layouts and other embellishments.

Camping Theme Birthday Card

Today I have sort of a mixed media camping theme birthday card.  In order to work with this card you will need MS Publisher.  Once you have downloaded the file to your computer you can easily edit the dates and names on the card.

In the download today you will find an Scut and and SVG file to make the pocket for the card.  This pocket should be 9 inches wide by 8 inches tall.  When folded in 2 you should have a 4.5 inch wide card.

Camping Card

To make the pocket fold the card in half.  Glue the edges.

You will find the digital stamp in the publisher file.  This stamp was colored using Bic Markers.

The Birthday Party stripe is chalked using Designer Chalks.

You can print the star background using the the star paper included in the publisher file.

I finished off the card with brown brads.

Tractor Card

Someone I know got a new tractor.  This is quite an event on the farm because  the last time it happened was about 10 years ago.  So to commemorate the tractor card has been born.  It was created with doodlebug glitter, some spare fiber and the Tractor Scut2 File.
