Holiday Mail for Heros

Christmas card maker here is another group that can use your talents this holiday season.  Holiday Mail for Heros.  This one is so, so important.  These solider’s have laid it all on the line for us.  It is so important to know that they are cared, loved and appreciated.  The Red Cross is running the Holiday Mail for Heros program is going on again this year.  Get you the paper get the glue and get that cricut humming.  Create some cards for the Soliders and get them mailed before December 7th.

This is the link to the Holiday Mail for Heros program on the Red Cross site.

Card Challenge for a Great Cause

Guys and Gals I love to spend time helping out out our senior care facilities in our neighborhoods.  The holidays are sometime tough on the residents because some of them don’t have large extended families, they have outlived lots of their friends.  The people in our senior care facilities need all the love and admiration we can pile on them.  They have fought our wars, raised our families and built our country.

If you have an extra Christmas Card project in you please send one this way.  I would love to take armfuls of Christmas cards to the residents of the several homes we have in the area.

Homemade scrapbook cards are awesome for the residents because they have texture.  When your eyesight starts to fail texture is super important.

If you have have a card you would like to share please send it to

Cairo, NE 68824

When you share your card I will make sure a picture is posted on the site with whatever information you want to share.  Let us know the who, what, when and where about the card.

Thanks for your help can’t wait to see those Christmas Cards start rolling in.

P.S. would be great to see a few of the Adams Acres scut files on those cards.
