Convert SVG into SCAL and Break Images Apart

Several members have asked me how to cut the Chili SVG file.  I put together a video that shows you how to layout the svg, export it into a bit map so that you can use the trace feature in SCAL II.  This is a longer video.  I hope it answers questions that you have about working with SVG, bitmap and the trace image feature in SCAL II.

Oh, thank you for the informative video. Are there more videos on the net using Inkscape? I realize that I will need to watch this one about six times before I can do it myself. I was hoping that our local community ed program would offer a class in Inkscape. But, maybe if you continue this as a series (or maybe someone already is), it might be even better. I can watch and re-watch and re-watch, something I could not do in community ed.

Bless you and thank you, Kay, Garfield MN

i think your work is awesome! Thank you. Out of all the ones trying to explain these techs, you do the best!

you still need to be more specific, especially for those of us who are new to SCAL and svg files. Take this video for instance, are you in “inkscape”…. And you do all this clicking and moving, but need to explain more how this is done because you are moving too fast for me.

I do like that you have these videos…I’m just not as literate with these programs and some of the younger set (I’m in my 60′s)

    Thank you
